Hotel Rate Types

Please note: Room Types may vary depending on location.


Standard:
The regular, public rate for a hotel room.
 
Corporate:
Usually offered for those travelling on business. Some hotels require business card or some sort of ID at time of check-in.
 
Weekend:
Discounted rate offered during a weekend period. Weekend period is determined by the hotel based on occupancy and average daily rate.
 
Other Rates:
 
Government:
Discounted rate offered to government employees. ID is usually required.
 
Military:
Discounted rate offered to military personnel. ID is usually required.
 
Senior Citizen:
Discounted rate offered to senior citizens. The hotel determines what age they consider to be a senior citizen.
 
Special/Promotional:
Discounted rate offered during a slow period.
 
Package:
Rate including amenities, meals, etc. in addition to room accommodations.
 
Family Rate:
Rate offered for families traveling together.
 
Club and Tour:
Special rates offered for a specific club (Elks) or for a tour group.
 
Negotiated:
Rate negotiated by a hotel company with a specific client.
