Gone are the dog days of summer and so is cash onboard our flights! In September, Southwest Airlines introduced a new inflight service that allows you to keep your cash for other items on your trip. We now accept only major credit/debit cards and drink coupons onboard, giving you the opportunity to use your Rapid Rewards credit card from Chase when purchasing beer, wine, cocktails, or energy drinks. You'll earn double Rewards Dollars, redeemable for Rapid Rewards credit for each dollar spent on these purchases. Of course, snacks and soft drinks remain free!
